In-Law Gift Guide

You asked, I hope I am delivering.

I love a good gift. Like, I really spend time thinking what I could get someone that will be used or enjoyed for time to come. I love to give practical things and hate being boxed into “this is the one thing I want” for any type of gift. Jordan is complete opposite. He wants to give someone EXACTLY what they said they wanted, which in my mind ruins the surprise. Either way, a gift is a gift and more times then not you are left with “don’t get me anything”, the guilt creeps in, and you are stumped.
I think I either have, or have given, every single one of these things! I hope you can grab a few ideas!

1. Echo
We LOVE our Echos. The girls love asking Alexa random things, ok – they love asking her to play Moana and Frozen, and I love to ask the temperature and time. haha. We have an Echo Show in our kitchen, this Echo in our bathroom (Hello music while showering and getting ready), and Ayla is getting the little one for Christmas! At all different price points, this is a fantastic gift! You can also use them to talk room to room which is great for the times you are left with no towel and need to tell someone across the house to bring you one….maybe a story from experience.

2. Portable Waterproof Speaker
This little speaker is AWESOME. It has great sound, waterproof AND shock proof. So those times you are carrying ALL the things to the beach and your bag breaks and your entire life spills out – it’s safe. Sand, concrete, or water. You are covered and can continue beach drinking and drowning out the whining with music. Cheers friends.

3. Tile
Ah. These. These are genius. Peace out frazzled I-cant-find-my-keys-and-we-were-supposed-to-leave-10-minutes-ago. If you have your phone, just beep the tile and it takes you right to your keys. Which is all fun and games until you have your keys without your phone. No worries there either. It will beep your phone FROM the tile unit too! I know, next comment – your phone is always on silent so there is just no hope. Yes, yes there is sweet thing. Your phone rings even on silent. Perfection.

4. Apple TV
Fire stick
We love these both! I have to say, I love the Apple TV WAY more. I can connect my phone directly so I can type on it. I feel like it hears and searches better. But that being said – I can buy 6 Firesticks for the price of 1 Apple TV. We have fire sticks on our outdoor patio TV and bedroom, and then the Apple TV in our living room. If I had 2 main living rooms – I would FOR SURE have two Apple TV’s. I love them.

5. Cordless Dyson
If I have to vacuum with a cord ever again, I am tapping out. If you enjoy adding extra time to your cleaning – do not get this.

6. Copper Mug
These are just so pretty! We have a set of 4 my mother in law got us a few years ago and we are always using them and serving in them!

7. Bartender Kit
Who doesn’t need this? My parents built an entire bar in their house – I would say this is a great start!

8. Wine Bottle Opener
We love this Bottle Opener! We leave it charging and it is always ready when we need it! I am certain the chiller is for that 2nd or 3rd bottle, who takes that long to go through 1?!

9. Charcuterie Board
I love a good Charcuterie board so how fun is this one. I love that it has different little spots for things and then opens up for the soft cheese knives!

10. Pioneer Woman Cookbook
Who in the world does not love this woman!? Her recipes are simple yet SO good. I’ve honestly yet to make something that wasn’t delicious. It is easy to follow recipes, simple, hearty food and you don’t have to go to have a specific herb imported from Italy – win/win.

11. Instant Pot
We have been loving our IP! It is very similar to a crock pot, but it has way more settings and, oh, when you get to work and realize you forgot to make your soup – no worries. Just get home, throw it all in the IP, and minutes later it is done. SO impressive!

12. Dutch Oven
I love Le Creuset but it is expensive so this is a great less expensive option that, in my opinion, is just as durable. Keep your eyes open for Le Creuset at TJ Maxx or Marshals, but if you want to order and be done – this is it!

13. Yeti Mug
We LOVE Yeti. I think maybe we have paid for someones salary, but who is keeping track?! I just feel like you can never have enough of these. Although I LOVE these mugs – they cannot fit in most cup holders, so keep that in mind! But, my theory is you shouldn’t want to set it down anyways?! These keep your drinks hot or cold for SO long.

14. Kindle
I love these new paper-white kindles! There are a bit less expensive ones that are a great option as well!

15. Slippers
Best slippers ever. I love Ugg and the quality they produce. These linked are for woman but all the guys in my life have them and love them too, so they are DEFINITELY for men and woman!

16. Heated Blanket
Ask Jordan. I LOVE my heated blanket. I actually have 2. One is queen size because is there anything better then climbing in a warm bed? No. No there is not. I will never understand you weirdos who like cold sheets. My other one is the size that is linked and just like a throw. It’s great for lounging around, throwing on my bed right before I get in if my other one isn’t on, or taking in the camper for cold nights. The best.

17. Blanket
Cardigan
I know. These are on the higher end of price. BUT. They are SO comfy and SO soft. Trust me.

18. Back and Neck Massager
I mean, who wouldn’t want a back and neck massager?! Either this or a monthly massage would suffice…surely this is less expensive 😉

19. Storm Glass
Have you seen these?! They are SO cool. They predict the weather (I think based on barometric pressure?!) and then the liquid makes certain designs depending on what weather is coming! Love.

20. Humidor
If you have a guy in your life who smokes cigars, you are welcome. These range in price, so if you want to get all fancy – you do you! I got my dad this exact one a few years ago and it’s still great!

21. Young Living Essential Oils
Last but definitely not least, the gift that is universal and can go SO many different ways! If you’re recipient has never dove into oils, this is a great place to start. It earns them a membership, a diffuser and 11 oils. SUCH a great way to start testing out the waters. I have also gifted a little spa package including the satin face scrub(pure heaven), bath bombs (smells good without the god awful things most have in them), and rose ointment that is amazing to have around for dry skin or cuts/scrapes. Let me know if I can help customize something for you! I would be happy to help!

xoxo!
